Stacy did a wonderful job with her project and made sure the information was accurate and pertained to the information we learned in class. She condensed it in a way that it didn’t drag on, but still made it an intriguing read that was easy to understand and get something out of. I liked that the information was helped by her sources and wasn’t just a regurgitation of what she read plastered into a google doc. She carefully read and thoughtfully chose bits and pieces that would aid her work. Another thing that she did well was use information we learned from class and connected it with her project, which was a really good addition and shows that she understood the material well. My favorite part of her project was the interactive brain she created with a power point explaining the different lobes of the brain, as well as their functions. I believe she went above and beyond on this portion and made it unique and showed a huge amount of effort spent in crafting it. Although she focused on the temporal and temporal parts and how epilepsy affects each of these regions a lot of information was connected with them. I learned that epilepsy targets parts of the brain differently and causes various reactions within each lobe. She also included the treatments that could be undergone to help with seizures, as well as what to do if someone is having them and the signs of a seizure. This was an exciting project and I think Stacy did an excellent job!
