    This artwork showcases a comparative line of pictures of electrocardiogram (ECG) traces representing different cardiac rhythms, from normal to pathological states, to display heart arrhythmias and how they appear on an EKG. The topmost trace illustrates a normal sinus rhythm, characterized by its regular rate and rhythm with a distinct P wave preceding each QRS complex. The following images display examples of common cardiac arrhythmias, such as ventricular tachycardia, shown by its wide and rapid QRS complexes; ventricular fibrillation, known for its chaotic and erratic waves; atrial fibrillation, demonstrated by an irregular rhythm with absent P waves; and supraventricular tachycardia, marked by its rapid and regular heart rate with unusually shaped P waves. Each ECG trace provides critical information for diagnosing and managing cardiac conditions, highlighting the importance of understanding these patterns for prompt and effective treatment of cardiac emergencies.
