This is my collage on classifying fractures. I made each type of fracture out of air-dry clay and painted them, then inserted a picture here. The red marks where a fracture of that type would be on a femur model.

  1. Karley describes the different types of bone fractures that cover the objective of classifying fractures. Karley used a femur as a model to show the six different types of fractures: transverse, oblique, comminuted, greenstick, open and closed. Throughout her essay she describes each type of fracture and leaves an example of what may cause each fracture. She includes how fractures are repaired.
