Hi McKayla, I think your STEAM project perfectly demonstrates the difference in appearance and function of a normal, healthy lung and a lung infected with tuberculosis. Your essay goes well into depth about how TB currently affects humanity, where specifically it does the most damage, and what causes it (M. tuberculosis). The essay goes into detail about the different organs that can be affected by tuberculosis, how it is transmitted, and the different forms of TB (latent, active, and MDR-TB). I also really appreciated the section about antibiotics used and what can happen if they aren’t taken properly. Your essay wraps up with a very important mention of what surviving TB can look like and what treated TB can cause in the future.
