  1. I believe your poster project covers Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome very well and corresponds to the Reproductive Unit objective of exactly who this syndrome affects, the dangers of it, and the main stages in fetal development. You offered a good graphic of what the different embryonic stages were, from fertilization to week eight and the fetus stage, which was week nine to birth, where the baby is rapidly growing. As for the affected population, the information consisted of infants whose mothers had been addicted to opioids, other drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. And the dangers and outcomes of this syndrome consisted of poor nutrition, chronic medical problems, the possibility of relapse, and even addiction or dependency problems for the infant. Overall, it is a very informative project on Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
