Posted by This project is a quick exploration of the Hygiene Hypothesis. I have chosen to include several examples of autoimmune disfunction in this story. To call this a graphic novel would be too generous as it is more of an illustrated story line. I tried to frame this vaguely as a play on the novel A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens. Although the plot doesn’t track very well with the original, I tried to tie this idea of the Hygiene theory into a genre outside of Biology (that being literature) and since Dickens portray such exposure to filth and destitute living I thought it might work well, enjoy!
