This STEAM project focuses on a healthy functioning lung compared to a lung that is infected by squamous cell carcinoma. My friend Ray’nell Watson and I conjoined our projects by creating lungs with a cake. The left side illustrates a healthy lung with oxygen entering and carbon dioxide exiting the lungs. The right side is an example of a cancer-infected lung.
