For my project I wanted to describe and depict the 4 main tissue types in the human body. As a visual representation I chose to bake sugar cookies and decorated them to look like microscopic slide samples of the tissues. Starting from top left to bottom right, I have pseudostratified epithelial tissue, adipose connective tissue, smooth muscle tissue, and nervous tissue. The frosting didn’t spread the way I would’ve liked, but after some trial and error I found butter cream is the way to go, not royal icing.
