  1. In her STEAM project, Lindsey discusses types of ligament tears and the different ways doctors or Physical therapists might recommend to speed up the healing process. Lindsey identifies the tendons, bones, ligaments, cartilage and muscles present and labels them on a diagram. She points out that you can sprain an ankle by inversion, eversion or high sprains. She also discusses the three different grades of ligament tears, from mild to severe, and created examples on her poster. Lindsey also highlights the importance of being consistent in keeping up with the movements and treatments prescribed by doctors to help fully heal torn ligaments.
