Nayeli Miller’s STEAM projects primarily relates to the objective ‘compare and contrast the peripheral and central nervous system’. She uses a cartoon for a media to depict the components of the brain that are affected by 4 drugs一marijuana, steroids, LSD, and nicotine. In her essay Nayeli explains how each drug works and affects the parts of the CNS and PNS, she describes the functions of the parts, and ultimately describes the disorders that result from consumption of the certain drug. I enjoyed reading through her essay and viewing her informative and artistic cartoon which have provided me with a better understanding of how each drug affects our nervous systems and how different disorders arise from certain drugs because of the specific components they affect. Good work Nayeli!
