  1. Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) is a disorder of the autonomic nervous system. The symptoms of POTS are syncope, presyncope, dizziness, shakiness, heart palpitations, weakness, blurred vision, brain fog, and fatigue. Conditions that commonly happen alongside POST are Ehlers-Danlos syndrome(EDS), a connective tissue disorder, migraines and chronic fatigue syndrome. Some of the causes of POTS: Neuropathic POTS, damage to the small fiber nerves that regulate blood vessel constriction; Hyperadrenergic POTS, higher levels of norepinephrine; Hypovolemic POTS, low blood levels; Secondary POTS, when another condition causes autonomic neuropathy.
